About Franklin County Criminal History

Franklin County records are divided among offices in Union, city police departments, Missouri courts, and state agencies. We organize those official routes so readers can tell whether a question belongs with the sheriff, the Circuit Clerk, Missouri Case.net, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Department of Corrections, or the Missouri Sex Offender Registry.

Why We Built This Site

Public access in Missouri does not place every part of a criminal history in one file. Franklin County Sheriff's Office Records holds sheriff reports and booking material. The Circuit Clerk keeps filed charges, dockets, judgments, and certified court copies. MSHP's Criminal Justice Information Services Division maintains the state repository and the Missouri Automated Criminal History Site. Corrections and registry records have their own systems. We bring the verified contacts, fees, search tools, and request steps together so a reader can choose the right custodian before making a request.
